Nintendo GDC Keynote Tomorrow

Tomorrow marks the day that Nintendo will be giving their keynote speech at the GDC. There have been all kinds of rumors floating around as to what they could announce, if anything. I have sifted through some of the rumors, and present ones you should not be surprised to hear about tomorrow.

Mario or Zelda game announcement - It is hard to believe that it has been more than a year since Super Mario Galaxy, and even longer since Twilight Princess. As Nintendo fans grow restless for another killer first party release, it can only be a short time before they are relieved.

Wii Streaming Video - What seems like more popular of a rumor floating around is that Nintendo Wii will begin offering video streaming sometime down the road. This really would not be that big of a surprise to me. The only thing that streaming media requires is good bandwidth. The Wii is perfectly capable of handling it.

The only question left, is what format would Nintendo use if they do announce this?

Nintendo Wii 2 - When I first heard this rumor, I instantly blew it off. The more I started thinking, the more I realized it could happen. Its been just over two years since the Nintendo Wii first was released. Going into its third year, the time is not too far off for new hardware to be worked on.

It is a long shot at this point, but considering the GDC is generally about future technology it could happen. I would not expect many details, but perhaps a teaser or two.
